How are my donations used?
All donations go strictly to keeping this broadcast on the air. The "goal" graphic above, will show how much is raised for the annual 2,000 dollar cost to legally stream copyright content through SoundExchange. All funds will be used to meet this specific requirement to ensure that the stations remain on the air each year.
When I donate, can I apply this to in my taxes?
Does COC Radio have 501(c)(3) status?
Ironically, it would cost COC Radio more to be classified by the government as a "non profit" entity, then it cost's to pay for the annual royalty fee, from SoundExchange. Regrettably, alot more. I wish your donation could be tax deductible, but, it is too expensive for COC Radio to apply, for that status.
If I donate, what difference will I be helping to make?
You will help reach 100,000's of people a year with your donation. You will reach 132 Nations and 150 Countries, as well as people in the United States. Your donation will make sharing, sermons, church music, Bible readings, children programming possible. Imagine places where Preachers can't easily go. Many such places are restricted, due to communism, or are also very dangerous due to Islamic rule. However with COC radio, via the internet, our broadcast can reach them. In locations around the US and around the globe, where there are very few Christians or none at all, COC Radio, can help to share encouragement, and God's truth with others. So many people can only reach so many places, and do so much good in a course of a span of time. Church of Christ Radio reaches a huge global demographic, over 30,000 hrs, each month. A person in North Korea, and another in Sudan, can both listen and be blessed. Many people, having to use many resources to be physically there in order to share God's music and message, is not needed. By helping me meet the cost, you help reach a broad and massive spectrum of people. The cost is high yearly, but through the two companies who provide the tools COC Radio needs, to serve, (Live365, for hosting and streaming and SoundExchange for legal broadcasting,) Church of Christ Radio is able to be heard globally, and in many media formats. Besides airing online at Live365, the (main server that streams to the other to be named sites), this broadcast can also be heard on..

Soon Church of Christ Radio will be streamed to more TV devices, (since most TV's will be internet capable), with new evolutionary tech change. The opportunities that this broadcast is and will be able to do is astounding. Also, COC Radio will have (in the future), streaming capabilities for automobiles- we can be heard on air, in cars, as most FM and AM stations, are heard.
Over the last few years, Church of Christ Radio has reached over 100,00 hrs annually. This last year, 300,000 hrs.

How is the difference between "Subscribing" and "Donating" to COC Radio?
Church of Christ Radio is streamed through the Live365 company. When you Subscribe to this broadcast, via Live365, the funds of the Subscription, and the help you give through that Subscription, goes primarily to the Live365 service that COC Radio is working under.
It is of benefit because COC Radio get's a small part of the sum (from Live365) of that Subscription cost that you pay. :)
Subscriptions, are a way to help out, as a good alternative, if you would rather not donate.
It's a helpful secondary means of supporting this broadcast.
Since all Donations, go straight to Church of Christ Radio and are completely used for broadcasting, this method is the first. Which ever way you help, know that it is appreciated! Both avenues, are a God send to this work. |

A message from the Manager of COC Radio, Joseph Sullivan
Many years back, I had a dream. You, my listeners have helped make this dream come true. After all the work, prayers, feedback, personal emails, and heartfelt support-- we have reached so many people and are sharing Jesus with the world. I could not do this work without you. I so appreciate your encouragement and share your excitement in spreading the Word. I receive great joy and blessing because I know that my listeners are receiving edification and pleasure from hearing these broadcasts . I'm very thankful for my listeners-- without you, there would be no Church of Christ Radio. As Manager, I have no team or staff. I just have as a great support base for my online site, a wonderful web guy, Eric Wallace, who keeps things running smoothly. My chief boss, friend and strong guide is our Heavenly Father who deserves all the Glory. However, when it comes to hands on streaming, broadcasting work, and doing the myriad multiple details that keeps this broadcast on the air, it's up to me. I am the one who will I do it, and am happy to do so because I truly do love sharing this spiritual material with you. Believe it or not, after the years it took to create and get this all together, the work I do is pretty easy and simple, but is time consuming. My concern as a broadcaster is in connection to this dream. I ask myself, will this work stay on? Part of my role as Manager, is the responsibility of paying the bills. As a non profit work, I make no money to put aside to pay for the annual yearly fee, and, since this is a, conservative, non institutional religious work, I receive no income from any churches or other organizations. I believe that I am answerable to God for what I share and in how I share it. My sincere wish is to focus on staying true to my faith in this matter. I am fond of saying this simple phrase, "Church of Christ Radio is by the people, for the people." And it is! I want to air these broadcasts for you as well as staying true to my convictions. I do not want to be controlled by any corporation or group, with their restrictions and oversights. I only wish to air what my audience finds of interest and encouragement. The nuts and bolts is this-- every year, in the December and January time frame, I pay royalties to a company called SoundExchange. The cost is 2,000 dollars annually! This gives me the right to share copyrighted material. As you can imagine, this is a hefty bill to pay. However, as I said before, I am glad to do it. The problem is that alone, I may not be able to raise the funds to keep these stations on the air each year. I need your help! This is why I am writing you. I hope, that if you find this ministry a pleasure to listen to, or if you see how it is changing lives, that you will choose to support this work this year and hopefully in the years to come. Please consider a private donation. It will have a profound effect for good . I am depending on you to make an incredible difference.
